There is a common misconception that the only thing that matters is the size of your audience.

Well, when it comes to online marketing, the number of views or the size of your subscription list really doesn’t matter. What matters is the quality of your lists and whether or not your attracting the right customers.

Would you rather have 1000 people reading your blog but never making a decision to use your services or buy your product? Or, would you rather have only 20 people who will buy from your business?

Its not about getting the most amount of views on a webpage or blog post, rather, its a careful strategy to get the right content out to the right people and creating the right opportunities for prospects to take so they move along a path that will let them decide themselves your busines can help them.

Focusing on trying to get a lot of eyeballs on your content alone is a waste of energy and more about your ego than somethinig that will make your business succeed. If the content is optimized to attract the right type of people you might not get a million hits a day, but you will get hits from the people you want to do business with.
